World wide clinic

Being involved largely in health policy in my non-clinical time, it is great to see that the networking I have been involved is able to help a specific person. This week one of my networks received an email about a 4 year old boy in Vietnam who has, after two years, had a good outcome from surgery on a leg with osteomyelitis. However he had a distorted shortened leg, so how to walk. The network was immediately able to assess the boys needs and now I am sure the flurry of emails around Australia and Vietnam will  provide an answer to give the boy access to orthotics and rehabilitation.
