Unity in Diversity Conference

My good friend, Dr Daliri, Director of the Townsville Migrant Resource Centre, organised a Unity in Diversity Conference to coincide with their annual Cultural Fest. I attended to present a paper of the “Uth Agents of Change Program“. It was a great conference with many leaders and researchers of culture in attendance.
My favourite keynote speaker was Professor Gala of Univeristy of Qld.
My favourite workshop was the Beyond Blue Indigenous Hip Hop project for getting an ethnically odd bunch of middle aged people engaged in break dance battling (soft style).
And I couldn’t go passed a mention of William Barton, Australia’s finest didgeridoo player who enthralled audiences in the conference and at the festival
