Squawk Award

In a surprising move, the SARRAH Board (or at least most of them as I am also a member of the Board) presented me the Squawk award at the recent SARRAH conference. The Squawk award is so called because the SARRAH logo is a sulphur crested Cockatoo ‘which has a distinctive loud screech.’, flying across a stromy sky calling to his fellows. It is given to a SARRAH member who has made a major contribution to talking up rural allied health services. See the award at the Rural Health page.
