Out of the Box Theatre

is a framework of group script writing developed by writing team, PhoenX, as a social discourse vehicle. “Out of the Box’ means taking a desegregating view to the social challenges. Simply put, we take the view that, while the success of our modern western society has been largely due to creating venues of intense activity such as factories, schools, sporting clubs, government, this model of intensifying resources, segregates large parts of the community from each other. For the most part, this segregation is creating barriers to solving the social and environmental challenges of our local, national, and international communities.

PhoenX is holding its first performance “Seven Rotations of Risk” and script writing workshop, at the Tableland Folk Festival at Yungaburra, North Queensland, Australia, next weekend.
